Welcome to this thing called life. Things are going to be confusing for a while, but eventually you'll get used to things like food, light, sleep and noise. But those are just the basics! Crawling's pretty cool. Books are awesome. Solid food...yum yum yum. There's also this thing called Elmo's World, but you're a first-born, so you probably won't find out about that until you get a sibling, and then it will be like non-stop. Oh yeah, and in a month or so, you'll be able to do this thing called smiling. If you could throw a couple of those smiles your parents' way, I'm sure it would be much appreciated.
We're really looking forward to visiting you sometime soon. We don't know much about girls. Mommy says she is one, but she just looks like a grown-up to us. Someday, we'll show you all sorts of fun toys like skid steers, robots, fire trucks and the top shelf of all sorts of furniture.
