Faked out again

Monday morning, Max was in a wonderful mood. Had we not already booked an appt. with the pediatrician, we probably wouldn't have taken him in to get checked. And would have therefore missed the roaring ear infection in Max's right ear. So, not teething or a growth spurt or nerves about moving. Both of the ear infections Max has now had have presented themselves very differently, so we're going to have to keep an open mind re: future fevers.

Also, it would help a bit if Max gave us any indication of what was happening. Pretty much everyone I've mentioned the infection to has gone "so he's been tugging his ear a lot lately." No, he hasn't. It's like how Max never lets us know it's time to change his diaper. Nothing bothers this guy. Except going too long without his doof!

Anyway, while talking comes hand in hand with talking back, it also comes with the startling ability to let your parents know what's wrong...I look forward to this greatly:)
